William of Occam (Ockham, Hockham) Franciscan friar, Scholastic philosopher, Evil genius. While his Razor is perfectly fine, Occam’s Nominalism -- in opposition to Aquinas’ Realism –is what’s wrong with the world today. Hence, he is an evil genius and then some.
